VELUM was born from a singular, poetic observation: the way a heavy curtain stirs in a silent room or a page curls under the weight of a secret. Our artisans challenged the perceived rigidity of concrete, seeking to imbue CEMORA with an impossible lightness. The result is a design that appears to “peel” away from the wall, a deliberate architectural gesture that creates a sanctuary for light. It is a metaphor for vulnerability and strength—a rigid material performing a soft act, designed to evoke a sense of discovery and warmth within the modern home.
